| I found that raising the rear of the hood (bonnet) caused the wipers to rise up the windscreen at high speed (on the track). A guy here in NZ experimented with a rear facing scoop but there is a high pressure area at the base of the windscreen (prob like I found) which stopped the air flow from the scoop. Seems the best way is like the mission bonnet where you have a vent just past the radiator. Originally I had a flat vent in the same spot which worked ok, but when I put in place the Mission bonnet with a raised bit before the vent it was much more effective at reducing engine temps. I presume this caused a low pressure area (like a wing) which enabled the air to be sucked out of the engine bay, as opposed to fighting the air flow over the bonnet in the previous version.
